About this activity
Kids love memory games and this one is easy to setup and also memory games encourage quiet and concentration too, and the more you play, the better they get.
What you will need
- Tray
- Tea towel
- Familiar objects

Setup of the tray
Dependent on the age of the child we recommend filling the tray with the following :
- Younger children: Larger items which are familiar to them (Toys, knives and forks etc) that they know the names for
- Older children: Less familiar items which can be smaller.
Make sure the tea cloth covers all of the tray and you're ready to go

Whats missing game
This version I find is better as an introduction to the game and also for younger children.
Show the tray with all of the items on it. For younger children, it may be worth pointing out what is there.
Now cover the tray with the tea cloth or get them to look away and then remove one item.
Once the tray is revealed then ask what is missing.
And repeat...
